Purpose Statement
- Promote education, research and practice of neuroscience in North America and globally.
- Act as a liaison between the neuroscience community in Pakistan & other countries, with theneuroscience community in North America.
Mission Statement
Pakistan International Neuroscience Society (PINS) of North America Association is a not for profit, medical specialty association established to advance neurological sciences among the neuroscience community in North America and globally, and thereby promoting the best possible education, research and care for the problems related to nervous system by:
- Ensuring appropriate communication between the related professionals and common people.
- Supporting and advocating for an environment which ensures ethical, high quality, and
economical health care with particular emphasis on problems of the nervous system.
- Providing, supporting and encouraging excellence in professional education in all domains of neuroscience.
Objectives
Pakistan International Neuroscience Society (PINS) of North America Association exists for and is dedicated to the following purposes:
- Support for those principles, policies and practices that seek the attainment of the best care of patients with problems of the nervous system.
- The pursuit of excellence in medical education around the globe, especially as it concerns the neurological sciences.
- The pursuit of high standards practice of neurological sciences.
- Support for the quest of scientific knowledge by support for research in related fields.
- The communication of scientific and scholarly information through scientific meetings and publications.
- Provision for communication with other groups and representations to best achieve and preserve the purpose of the society.
